The BBES Seventh Grade Ordinary/Extraordinary Photography Project is a collection of portraits and essays about the everyday heroes in our seventh-grade students’ lives.

This project took place between February and April of 2019. Seventh graders worked with professional photographer Erik James Montgomery, along with language arts teachers Kirsty Sucato and Marissa Vitale, to document moms, dads, neighbors, a grandpa, and a community police officer. These intimate and personal tributes, at their best, reveal something about the subjects and their photographers and help viewers see the extraordinary in the ordinary.

Please enjoy, and feel free to leave comments.
